A Note From Me
Hi, I’m Nicole — founder of The Espresso Experience.
I’ve always believed that coffee is about so much more than just caffeine. It's about connection, celebration, and sometimes even comfort when you need it most.

My love for coffee started during my undergrad years, working as a barista in Seattle — the coffee capital of the country. I had the chance to serve some of the biggest Fortune 500 companies, but what really stayed with me wasn't who I was serving — it was the small, everyday moments: someone taking a quiet break in a busy day, a team celebrating a win, a person just needing a little kindness (and a good latte) to get through a tough one.
Those little interactions — the smiles, the conversations, the feeling of making someone’s day just a little bit better — were my favorite part of the job. Honestly, it was the best job I ever had.

Opening The Espresso Experience is my way of getting back behind the bar — this time, bringing that same joy, care, and connection to weddings, private parties, and corporate events here in Virginia Beach.
